My name is Jacquelyn Yerman and I represent the “Y” in the MY of My Diamond Homes. My family and I reside in Rocklin, California and I am one of the founders of My Diamond Homes LLC. I have been in the Real Estate Industry for almost 20 years. 17 years ago I went through several unforeseen challenges where I ultimately lost my home. During that time I felt no matter how hard I tried to save that life I had worked for, I found that behind every door there was never a good option given to help me and my situation; the options given were only those that benefited the bank. Since then, I have made it my goal to educate others on real estate financial decision making, with the hopes that just a few extra details explained would empower and give others the knowledge to understand the fine print of one of the largest purchases made in their lifetime. As said by Oprah Winfrey: “Turn your wounds into Wisdom”.

I am represented by the “M” in My Diamond Homes and feel blessed to be a co-contributor to its creation. I define myself as a part of a loving family and an individual with strong commitment to responsibility of personal and professional life. In my professional sphere I have long been an advocate for people, starting out with my studies in social work and eventually working for a nonprofit that supports clinics. Jacquelyn, my sister-in-law, and co-owner to MDH had recently introduced me to the world of real estate where I worked in home financing. This change in careers was exciting and rewarding in a different way. First, it allowed me to work closely with Jacquelyn, join a team, complete tasks, and share the experiences of struggles and rewards. It also brought us and our families closer together and allowed me to work directly with people to provide the support they needed to acquire their new homes. Recently, Jacquelyn introduced the idea of going into business together and navigating our own way through the world of real estate investing. With many blessings and opportunities provided to us we were able to begin this journey.
